Prof .(Dr.) Suleena V.S is currently working as the Head of Department of Commerce at Sacred Heart College ( Autonomous) , East Campus , Thevara , Kochi , Kerala , India , with effect from 02.06.2025. Previously she was working as the Head of the Department of Commerce, St.Joseph’s College for Women, Alappuzha, Kerala ( affiliated to University of Kerala) with more than 30 years of experience in teaching, research, training, administration and institution building. She is also a Research Supervising Teacher in Commerce at The Institute of Management in Government, Research Centre,  University of Kerala ,Thiruvananthapuram,kerala, India. She is a post graduate in commerce from Department of Commerce, University of kerala and had also taken M. Phil from the same Institute. She took her Doctorate from the Department of commerce, University of Kerala itself. She has published over 40  research articles in journals and edited books of national and international repute. She has presented several research papers in various national and International Seminars and Conferences .  In her academic capacity she has worked in many roles including, subject expert for appointment of  Faculty positions under various colleges in the State of Kerala to question paper setter for the Public Service Commission, Government of Kerala. She has worked as Subject Expert in the Committee for the CAS promotion of Assistant Professors  and Associate Professors  working in selected  affiliated colleges of Mahatma Gandhi University .She has also worked as Trainer Associate – Environment and Sustainable Development, for Government of Kerala during 2014 and  Trainer Associate- Capacity Building for Women Managers in Higher Education, for UGC during 2011. She is also appointed as Member , Faculty of Commerce, University of Kerala for a period of 3 years from 2023.
